We stayed at mount bundy in the non powered section in our caravan and it was fantastic. A really country experience but also so close to Lichfield, Katherine and Darwin. Advertises itself as tranquil... But allows generators till 10 pm. Generators operate in the non powered section, which just happens to be 50 feet from rooms and powered camps. Genius!

A real working station near Litchfield National Park. An area full of history of Australia's WWII efforts in the north: history most Australians do not know. Wonderful hosts and great horse-riding opportunities. Accommodation ranages from a self-contained cottage to campsites. We would definitely return. (We were there after the false scare about the water.)
