We stayed in Darwin for a week and 3 different hostels in total, due to high demand. Youth Shack is the sister hostel for Chillis down the road! Booked 2 beds in a 4 bed dorm - on check in they said we would be in separate rooms to each other! We had to wait an hour and a half... More

youth shack is a clean hostel with friendly and accommodating staff. The pool is clean and and spacious compared to other hostel pools and the bar is good value and there is always something going on there each night. Rooms are all secure and have lockers. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. More

Well Darwin is extremly boring and apart from Kakadu and Litchfield there is nothing to do. But if you come here go in the Youth Shack and stay a week for a decent price.
