I stayed in Elkes for 3 1/2 month. The only reason for that were the people. The good things: aircon in every room and cheaper than the most hostels in Darwin. The pool is big and clean. May be it's a bit apart from the city centre, but it is clean, quiet... good for sleep and relax. Goog value for your money. I can compare it with Frogshollow (surprisingly recommended by Lonely Planet) and this one is much much better !!! More
