We stayed at Base Camp when we were on a 2 day/1 night Fraser Island Tour with Nomads. Not only did Base camp have a fantastic vibe to it, the tour itself was also AMAZING!! “Its not luxury camping, its a hostel!!”

Both Base Camp and Wotif websites praise this accomodation as luxury camping, but don't be fooled! Its just a hostel, just as noisy as you would be staying in a hostel,and kitchen lacked in a few things (clean tea towels, scrubs and gas for cooking...) At one night and morning we didn't even had hot water, so cold showers it... More
