I stayed here when a Qantas delay caused me to miss the last flight to Sydney . The rooms were excellent but the staff treated you like dirt from start to finish . It was immediately pointed out that the Qantas voucher only covered $35 for room service dinner and $20 for breakfast . I availed of the one free... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sebel King George. I was here for a week for business purposes. My room was very well sized and comfortable, and stocked with everything you would need for a week away from home. Room service was excellent. I was particularly impressed with the helpfulness of the concierge who assisted me with directions, information... More

I stayed here on a work trip with several colleagues to attend a conference. We all had similar basic rooms. Now I need to say from the outset these rooms are small, but they are catering to the corporate market so I guess for a place to crash with no real features its okay. It has broadband at a cost,... Stayed overnight and had a room with a balcony on the 3rd floor. The room was large with 2 beds , bathroom large, facilities great. Everything was clean and decor lovely. Although a little bit of road noise being on the lower floor it was worth having a large outdoor area so you don't feel locked in a fish bowl.... More

Pleasantly surprised. Refurbishment has made the place bang up to the minute in looks and feel. Staff were very efficient and helpful. More

Nice rooms, we were upgraded to a balcony room - unfortunately the door didn't lock, the neighboring rooms both had smokers so outside was just plumes of smoke, and it looked out from Level 3 to just above the overpass next to the hotel. Is advertised as a 5 star hotel (on the sebel section, citigate said 4 stars...) but... More

After a long day traveling and a canceled flight we were sent to the Sebel in downtown Brisbane. It was very nice. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, great views from our room on the 7th floor. I'd stay here even it was at my expense. The location is fantastic too, right in the center of town, but not... This place is looks good. Must have had a recent refurb. Rooms are large and decor stylish. Didnt have a chance to check out all facilities but this looks like a solid four star performer. No complaints. Maybe I am picky but all these places are the same. Kinda soulless in an "Up in the Air" kind of way. Functional... More

Rooms small and a little tired. Air conditioning needs to be updated to multi directional rather than blowing on my head. Can't fault the location and the best Bircher Meusli in the world. Staff very helpful especially Stuart on concierge More

Decided to go all out on our yearly trip. Just also happened to be my birthday. So we blew our weekly wage on our first fancy hotel. The rooms where wonderful beautiful decor very clean and crisp. Not the best view but that can't be helped when your right in the middle of the city. Breakfast was the best range... More
