Certainly can't fault the service, it was excellent at all times. The room was clean and the bathroom large, the separate shower and large bathtub were great (I hate the shower-over-bathtub setup). The location is spot on. The hotel is very quiet and seemed all but empty when we were there, EXCEPT for the group of young girls who arrived... More

Having to travel to Brisbane for business (always best to travel when someone else is paying) we were booked in to the Treasury Hotel which is part of the Treasury Casino. This building is not actually part of the casino building however is owned by the Casino and even has an underground passageway to the casino so that if it's... More

Our room had historic high ceilings, and doors out onto the balcony ... except the doors to the balcony are locked, and behind them is a pane of glass to make the room quieter and prevent access. So upon entering the room you are very excited, which quickly becomes disappointment. Apparently there are some rooms where you can access the... More

The room was great, the very high ceiling gave a nice sense of space and it was lit sympathetically. The bathroom was great, I really prefer a separate shower and bath and the elegant marble gave it all a premium feel. Bed was comfy and the turn down service was a pleasant surprise. I was a little disappointed by the... More

We stayed in the Hotel, not the Casino building. There are 2 big advantages for this historical site. First of all, it's location. Just along the river and across from the old Expo site. It's less than 2 blocks to the main city shopping mall and within walking distance to many other attractions. The Tourist Information Centre is right on... More

Loved this hotel, beautifully decorated super spacious rooms, separate lounge/dressing area, large doors onto verandah, large marble bathroom with separate shower, homemade cookies, great room service, friendly and welcoming reception staff and concierge service. Have stayed here twice now and I'm fussy! Great value for money, highly recommend it. More

We stayed for one night in this elegant and beautiful hotel. The hotel itself is a 'stately' old building and full of English elegance. The interior is gorgeous. The bedrooms are large and complete with everything you would expect in a five star hotel. We had a lovely view of a pretty couirtyard from our window but you can even... More

Decided to have an overnight stay before heading to Noosa after our domestic flight. From the moment you set your eyes on the beautiful historic building the whole experience begins. From the concierge, reception staff, bell boy check in was a breeze. We booked through webjet and received a great room rate. The hotel room was just lovely, the tallest... More

Beautiful heritage building. Rooms were enormous with extremely high ceilings, albeit a bit dark. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathrooms were the best part...marble everything with large bathtubs perfect for a soak. The hotel is very centrally located, across from the Treasury Casino, at the end of the Queen Street shopping strip. The building is old... More
