I really like this hostel, it's clean and viby.. the rooms are nice... BUT it's sooooo cold at night, and you are not allowed to use your own sleeping bag... all they give you is a thin sheet... you have to pay $2 for a thin blanket, and I still couldn't get any sleep because I was still freezing. All... More

We planned to stay here for 3 days. that was until we arrived, it was dirty and had a strange smell of beer and vomit. We reduced our time to two days which was frankly too long. The staff at the desk are nice enough cant fault them. They charge $7 for 2 hours internet. (best thing to do is... More

I stayed 2 nights in October 2012 with 3 friends as we were making our way up the coast. Comfortable beds in a huge room with balcony, fridge and private bathroom, and the free shuttle bus to and from the city was very helpful, as it isn't too close to the city centre. The surrounding area is cool though, with... More

I arrived in Brisbane and originally booked to stay for a week here, I ended up staying until just before Christmas, and went back again just after new year! The staff are friendly and helpful, the hostel has a nice chilled atmosphere, and I met many people whom are now some of my closest friends. It's outside of the main... More

It was a great place to stay, with very friendly staff who helped me out with anything i needed:-) They have a bar/restaurant which did meal deals for $10 for a meal and a pint which as pretty good!! Came to stay here after chill backpackers robbed us of $120 due to a cancelled bus durring the cyclone. Really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were clean with nice beds. Lots of nice services and friendly staff. Wifi is not free, stupid Australian wifi policy. Kitchen is small for the amount of people wanting to use it. Its a 15... More

Stayed here for a few weeks during August with two friends when we first arrived in Australia. We were lucky to be staying in a room with two other girls who we got on fab with. Was hard work lugging the all our stuff up and down the stairs. Cleaners came in and sorted the room out everyday! Only thing... More

I stayed 5 nights in this hostel and it was a nightmare. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned for weeks and even when I asked the staff to do it nothing happened. In my room stayed also three longterm people who stored a lot of dirty dishes and food there. Surprise on the third day i discovered very big cockroaches. Aircondition... More

This was a nice place to stay. The room itself was quite large, and nicely decorated. It had a nice television set, and fridge. I believe that all the rooms have an ensuite; my girl's dorm washroom was really clean. All the rooms also have a balconey and air conditioning. The hostel has a pool on site, as well as... More

Stayed here during Ashes in 2010/11. Wouldn’t visit unless cricket was on so difficult to fully review. Sadly the hostel staff open up the locked dorm rooms at all hours checking you aren’t breaking the non-alcohol rules the hostel has in place, ensuring you buy there rip off $8 pints. This is a major downside to what is a reasonably... More
