Friendly helpful people. The rooms are small and the beds are hard. The furnishings are old with peeling wallpaper. The breakfast is toast and coffee or tea. There was 1 small table next to the bed, so no place to put toiletries. We could hear people talking in their room down the hall with their door closed.

I recently stayed for two nights, it was like stepping back in time, it is a charming, quirky place. Very easy location with some off street parking available for no extra cost. Easy walking distance from central station. the shared bathroom was always clean. my room had pink floral wall paper and a silver ceiling, so it's pretty out there!... More

We stayed for three nights in an ensuite room. There was a nice homey atmosphere and the hosts were hospitable but not intrusive. They were happy to help with any request. Our flight in was late and it was not a problem. They were very easy going and understanding. I noticed how relaxed the guests were. Reading books/ newspapers/ magazines... More

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 - night stay there. The atmosphere felt exactly like my granny's home! Breakfast (toast with your choice of jam or butter) was amazing! Shared tv room, where there's complimentary coffee and tea :) Great location! If you have a car , call reception beforehand to book a parking spot behind the property. Would... More

Nice clean rooms and bathroom. The location is great ,close to Central station and all restaurants and shopping malls. The Interior decoration is very antique and gives you colonial feeling. Its an 120 years old Inn so you will get a very lovely British touch ! The host are very friendly and warm . It feels like a home. The... More

This B&B is located in a old colourfull threestory house in midst of Brisbane. Easy to walk from city center and very near the central train station. Gloria and her husband are very nice and hospitable. I all a great place for few money.

Great location, short walk uphill from Central Station. Also walking distance to the Valley to check out the night life. There is a free Spring Hill bus loop that stops across the road (coming from CBD) which helps to cover more distance without having to pay for PT. Rooms are small and basic, but to be expected in a BnB... More

Only stay for a night but was very surprised by the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff, especially Mark and Julie. The place was managed by 3 pair of retired couples whom rotate to look after the place. Breakfast was simple, just toast and coffee/tea/orange juice. However, they offered extra serving of toast, if required. The common toilets are cleaned... More

A very friendly welcome by one of the two couples that run the place. The rooms and shared bathrooms were pleasantly clean. I don't care for floral bedspreads, I personally think these should be updated. This place is not close to any shops if you need a quick snack or something for dinner. The free breakfast - mmm I still... More

This is a very well located budget hotel that has great service because of the extremely helpful staff. The rooms are small but the beds are comfy and the shared showers are no problem. Despite the hotel being full - there was never any conflict for the bathrooms. The common area is useful - tea/coffee/TV, internet and always interesting guests... More
