The staff are very friendly when checking in, but it's all downhill from there. We stayed in a room for two (bunkbed with washroom and shower), and opened the door to the pleasant powerful smell of sewer gas, which was present the entire evening/morning we stayed there. Stayed in a private room with ensuite with my fiancé may 2013. We only lasted one night. The room smelled terrible and there was bugs all over the shower. I stayed in many hostels while backpacking through Europe. This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. One should definitely avoid if they are squeamish about bugs.

I would not recommend this place. When we arrived, we had to change rooms two times. Once because the room didn't have enough available beds, and the other room was infested with bugs.
