We recently stayed at the Mantra in Cairns and would stay there again. We had an ocean view room with balcony which had amazing views. The room was clean and spacious. We didn't use room service but reception staff were friendly and helpful. Local amenities and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Spent 3 nights here and we were happy to leave. The staff are cold and the main floor snack bar/restaurant was closed and apparently out of business....a sign of problems in the hotel. location,location,location and not to mention the views, helpfull staff and clean and well apointed rooms makes for a great stay. Stayed here for three nights and then one more night following a trip. Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Secure and free off street car parking is a real winner here. Rooms are great with plenty of space and a good sized bathroom. No comolaints with this place and location is fine.
