I will not be staying at this place again. What you saw on the internet is definitely NOT what you got!!! Looking online we booked a family suite, published rate $199... what we got was a room which was meant for NO MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE, yet they had pushed 2single beds together to form a king and then squeezed... Dorm beds are cheap, $12, there's plenty of places where you'd pay the same price and get worse. So decent value for your money. Depending on who you get at reception, you may be greeted by a lovely lady or a very stressed out lady. Best to get on their good side and they will work with you when you... More

The room was very comfortable, clean with A/C, a must during this time of the year. Has a neat swimming pool and a continental breakfast is included. Staff was most helpful to assist you in your stay in Cairns More

Hotel is in a good location, bus stop 5 minutes walk away takes you into the city centre. The hotel itself is good, Is only about 10/15 minutes form the airport. we had a room with a double and a single. the bathroom is quite small and the shower leaks so make sure you put a towel down. We had... More

We stayed here only one night and left very early in the morning. We shared a four people dorm with one person which cost only $14 per head. Room was nice with air con, sink, fridge and a few shelves. Toilet was next door (I struggled with the tap - water wasn't coming however the noise was dreadful), shower room... More

We stayed here the first couple of days after arriving from europe. It was a relaxed and nice place to stay with a beautiful pool and good atmosphere. The room was bigger than we'd expected. Maybe not a place to stay for weeks, as it is a little far from the town centre, but a warm welcome to Australia when... More

I stayed at this resort in November 2011. The resort is good value for money. however it is managed by a handful of massive twats who are very rude and unprofessional. Every time we went into the reception the little man was very confrontational and when it came to checking out we had to wait for him to finish his... More

We managed to book this hotel at a very reasonable price which included breakfast. The room itself consisted of a double bed, TV, tea/coffe making and a seperate bathroom. It was very clean and comfy. It was a small room but this is because it is for a couple and is not self catering. There were clothes washing facilities on... More

First of all, $12 a night for a 6 bed dorm is awesome. It is a mix of a hotel and a hostel. Free breakfast in the morning was nice, cereal, toast, coffee etc. The kitchen has lots of cooking space, but no fridge. There are small fridges in the dorms, but 6 people sharing a tiny fridge doesn't work... More
