Stayed here on a powered site for 3 nights in may. Great park with nice pool areas & play area for kids. Some sites are tricky to get into due to trees at front of sites. Backs onto a school so avoid sites near the fence line. More

This is a large caravan park with many units close to each other. Our unit was a Palm Villa. The main bedroom was comfortable. The second bedroom had to sets of bunk beds squeezed in and nowhere to swing a cat. The lounge and dining area are not roomy. This was okay for an overnight stay but wouldn't want to... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night as we were traveling through on our way from airlie beach to Brisbane. Because we were in a Brits campervan we got a discount at big 4 parks and decided this one would be good. After staying at other big 4 parks on our way, this one was a little disappointing.... More

My family decided to travel to rockhampton for the night, so we booked into a "deluxe paradise apartment" ($240 per night) at the tropical wanderer. Negatives- the beds are extremely uncomfortable, patched holes in the wall that have not been repainted, very basic tea and coffee (had to go ask for milk) tiny car parks and the waterfall over the... Room looked OK to start with but at $150 per night you have to clean the room ie dishes etc which makes you wonder how clean they would be. Booked a room with a triple bunk but put in a room with a double bunk. The cleanliness of the bunk room was terrible, my daughter found gum under the pillow,... More

We stayed here in the middle of an arduous driving experience moving to Townsville. We didn't have a booking but had researched their website and asked for a Palm Villa, got the last one. Service was friendly and efficient, the cabin was large with a couch and dining setting, outdoor setting, one bedroom with 4 bunks and one with a... More

Booked here for a two night stay to attend a wedding in Rockhampton. We stayed in the motel section in a "deluxe" room. Receptionist was cold and impersonal and again, we had pre-booked and paid well in advance but were still distrusted and required to leave a credit card imprint as security even though they don't even have mini-bars. The... More

Arrived - staff at front desk looked as if it was a burden for them to be there. Went to room - Front step of cabin was loose, 1 large cockroach and about 20 small ones scuttled away as I walked in the front door, most flyscreens were ripped, decor was hideous - clearly no redecorating since they opened (which... There were no problems with the booking of this room which was done on the internet and the price quoted was the price charged. Now the trouble begins. Staff at admissions were indifferent to say the least, and instructions on how to reach the room, called a villa, were very offhand and when i queried the instructions I was handed... More

For $150 for a two bedroom cabin for the four of us, we weren't expecting the Hilton. What we got was perfectly acceptable during our road trip. Stayed here on 7th October for one night. The cabin was clean, well equipped and adequate for our needs. We even got free internet, though it is not advertised as being free! More
