The Townsville Hotel & Casino is holding itself quite well even though the establishment is becoming quite old, when compared to other options in Townsville. We were quickly put thru check in. Room was nice and clean. Dinner at Kobe restaurant was beautiful. And the breakfast buffet was yummy, with heaps of options for all tastes. “Over zealous security”

After a function at the casino I found the security staff to be over zealous and overly physical in their application of entry policy. I would recommend that any traveller looking to enjoy a few drinks before entry to the casino enter them drink as I found the security staff to be overly physical and aggressive.

We stayed for a few nights at jupiters and found it to be quite comfortable. Only thing was room service finishes at 10pm so if you like a late night snack, don't stay here! It is also a bit of a walk into town. Was very clean and staff were great.

“Great Hotel, Reasonable price”

Great hotel, tiny rooms though for the price. Good Service. housekeeping staff not very friendly but reception more than helpful. Had a few problems with the lock on the door, the swipe keys never seemed to work properly. Resteraunt great, the garlic pizza rocks. Casino is abit poor, not much variety at all.
