We stayed at qualia for 4 nights for our honeymoon. In the midst of planning the wedding and plenty of other expenses, the up front payment seemed steep at the time. However, every aspect of our stay was exceptional, and great value for money. we stayed in late march and unfortunately it rained the whole 5 days! but this did... More

I took my wife here for her birthday in December 2008 - so sorry about this late posting - but I am just waiting for the chance to return here. The entire experience of this resort - from meeting at the airport to departure - is pampered luxury. Nothing is too much bother and everything is possible. Chalets are self... More

We just returned from staying at Qualia for our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary. Couldn't have asked for a better place! The food, staff, accommodation, service, views and absolutely everything was faultless.... You'd have to be very fussy not to enjoy yourself here.... They have thought of everything. The only thing we couldn't change was the weather! So if i was... More

We stayed a full week at qwalia and wished we could stay longer. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our gourmet meal was a delight and so were the other trips we undertook. Just to sit at the long pavilion with a drink and soak in the view was relaxation by itself. We atayed in the leeward pavilion... More

Dear pmirchan, Thank you for reviewing qualia and sharing your experience with the readers. The confit duck leg with sauté potato, carrot, fennel and orange salad is an amazing dish. The crisp skin coral trout and mussels with cracked buckwheat is also delicious and a dish that I highly recommend. I will pass on your commendation to qualia's executive chef... More

Having been to Hamilton Island many times, staying in various accommodations - we treated ourselves to a stay at qualia! We were so very impressed with the resort. It was outstanding. Spa qualia is an absolute treat. Do yourself a favour if you stay and book in. Restaurant is special, my fussy partner stuck to the same each night we... More

Qualia resort is a very special place. It's adults only and at the top end of luxury. The villas are extremely private and luxurious. The resort is set on the northern end of Hamilton Island which is part of the Whitsunday Islands in Queensland. It is a private enclave that is said to be the highest consumer of Veuve Cliquot... Hello AjmSydney, Thank you very much for reviewing qualia. I was pretty excited when we were told last year qualia is the highest consumer of Veuve Clicquot in Australasia in our category, and thanks for helping us maintain that statistic!! We are indeed a destination for international travellers but we actually host more Australians than any other nationality. Some recent... More

My wife and I recently got back from 2 nights at Qualia. The whole experience was sensational. Upon arrival were we delighted to find that we had been upgraded to the Beach House and it only got better from there. The service deserves additional praise.

Qualia has to be the best resort we have had the pleasure to stay at. The experience was pure luxury, attention to fine detail was evident throughout the resort. You don't need to leave Qualia as all you need to relax is located within the resort. Swimming, snorkeling, sailing, canoeing and gym is available at all times. Take time out... More

Dear Robyn P, I’d like to thank you for this review of qualia. I’m proud to hear that you rank qualia as the best resort that you’ve stayed at – we have quite a bit of help from the beautiful environment that we’re situated in but we also try extremely hard to make our guest’s stay memorable. Dear Tash28, Let me thank you for your wonderful review. In my opinion, the Windward Pavillions at qualia are well worth the extra money and I can’t recall a single Windward Pavillion guest regretting the choice to upgrade from a Leeward to a Windward. The marketing on our website describes them as having “A private sundeck and infinity-edge plunge pool... More
