I dont know what all these other comments are talking about! This place is amazing. Yes, a bit slow, but it is paradise and you have it all to yourself!! Everyone dreams about being on their own deserted beach, here they finally get it, and people just complain. Our boat had about 20 people on it so we all got... More

The good... we arrived at this beautiful resort, and were greated by friendly and fabulous staff! Due to the lack of people staying there we were given 2 rooms instead of the one we booked for and at no extra cost. The cost was great! BUT thats where it all ends. Taking a look around the resort, it was nice,... More

We stayed here during our Pride of Airlie Whitsundays Sailing tour, and the whole thing was just awful. The weather was terrible which didnt help, so the oaths etc were flooded, and because of the deep holes we were ankle deep in water when walking anywhere. The check in was a shambles, we were told to put ourselves in groups... More

AVOID THIS PLACE. DO not waste your time or money going here. The resort is dead. There were only 2 other couples when we got there, so everything was shut. No food, no drinks, no activities. NOTHING!!! We only went on a half day trip to see the supposed bird paradise, but there were no birds to be found. The... More

This place will blow your mind. There is nothing like it at all. It is like a video game or a scary movie - I cannot reccomend it enough but it is seriously so weird. The place is definately in disrepair; but certain features are spectacular - the GIGANTIC and deep swimming pool; the captain cook mural... the place is... More

I went to Adventure Island Resort in March and I had a great time. Got to see loads of tropical fish while swimming, the island walks where great and I got some awesome photos of the Whitsundays. The island had a great bar, with loads of entertainment, I loved the karaoke and the staff where really helpful!

I booked this holiday as a retreat for me and my partner who haven't had a holiday together for a long time. I booked the beach front bungalow as I wanted it to be special. The first problem was the the boat ride over and transport from airport were not included. Not that big of a deal but most Whitsunday... More

DO NOT GO - My partner and I booked to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for 1 because it was so awful. We were looking forward to sailing around the island in a catamaran and eating delicious seafood in the restaurant. The online advertising lead us to believe it was a resort with resort facilities - but... More

My partner and I booked for 2 nights here in the garden view room. From the outside the place looks nice but is a very old, run down resort..actually wouldn't even use the word resort. I can say we were upgraded to a beachfront room, thanks to out very lovely just Maria. The room was very poor standard, very dirty,... More
