A nice affordable alternative in Coober Pedy. The owner/manager Martin was very helpful and was able to arrange spur of the moment underground accommodation for me and even gave me directions to a great location for stargazing. I highly recommend this establishment, you will not be disappointed.

The place is amazing, the room are very cool in the night, the facility realy convenient and the staff is really really helpfull. our car died and they did all they could do to help us. Thanks a lot ! We definitely recommend the place !

It's a quiet nice expirience sleeping 6,5 meters below the hot dessert. But that's all. Staff at reception tried to be helpfull, but so called legend Martin was not at all. In town making a documentary and we chanced to stay at Radekas, Martin was as helpful as he was friendly and made us feel right at home. Radeka's is a genuine underground hotel. All the cheap rooms are actually cut out of rock with bare stone walls it feels like your sleeping in a mine! The manager Martin is a chilled out Aussie. Really cool guy, easy going about everything. The gift shop is a bit pricey though I recommend checking out the shops in town.

radeka was a great place to stay in coober pedy, to keep out of the heat and also sleep inside a rock... it's a great experience that was thoroughly enjoyed, and not expensive either. i would happily go back to coober pedy and to radeka.
