My husband and I travelled here in 2011 with our daughter (utilising a deals voucher for 2 nights). The Hotel location was absolutely PERFECT - across the road and up a little from the Queen Victoria Markets and the same for a tram to take you anywhere you desire. As a family we would be most happy to return to... More

My boyfriend booked this hotel for my birthday and it was a really great place to stay. The hotel was modern and clean with beautiful views over the city. The location was great, a stroll to the Queen Victoria Markets and a short walk tp the CBD and tram stops. The reception staff were helpful and let us leave our... More

We stayed here for one night in the city. Close to everything the location is great. Shame the parking is around the block but with everything in walking distance you don't need it too much. Room was a bit pricey for what it offers but I booked late so I guess that's my own fault really. Room was large and... More

We spent a few nights at the Central Sky Lounge apartments which we booked at last minute. The location is about 15 minutes from Flinders Street Station and about 2 minutes from the Victorian Markets; not as central as some hotels but certainly within walking distance of many of the shops and attractions. The car park entrance is at the... More

I arrived on crutches, staff did everything possible to ensure I was close to lifts etc, which meant shuffling rooms.Thank you, made my stay more enjoyable. The hotel is across the road from Vic Markets, which made buying our tasty cheeses etc much easier.Cheap chinese food 5 mins walk, cheap and delicious.I have no problem in recommending this hotel highly.Very comfortable beds and pillows, clean and tidy... This place is also a service department, not just a hotel. The frontage is a little dodgy. It's about 50 footsteps from the Queen Victoria Market, a 10-15 minute walk to Lygon Street, a 5 minute walk to the Melbourne Public Bath. But if you want shopping, you have to walk. Walk to Melbourne Central 2 streets away, about 8... More

I won two tickets for a night's accommodation each to this hotel - in mid to late 2011. There were conditions stipulated - which did not include staying on a Fri or Sat night, but centred around exclusion dates due to Melb events - quite reasonable. I have tried for the past two weeks to book in to the hotel... More

Good Morning, Firstly please accept my apologies for the delayed response. I have read with disappointment in relation to your experience with the Team at Central Sky Lounge Hotel. You are correct in stating that you had won 2 tickets for a free nights stay from the Taste of Melbourne in 2011. Firstly let me point out that when the... More

For that price you were expecting something spectacular, but the room is small, and the celling is wooden which basically means each move in the room above you have to witness, even 3 in the morning. But the worst thing is that, the hotel it self it is not the only bussines in this property, some of the rooms are... More

Good Morning, Thank you for your comments - I am puzzled as to why you would think we have wooden ceilings in our rooms. The building is a 4 star modern apartment building and I can assure you that no ceilings in any apartments are wooden. I would also like to try and understand how you would think my front... More

Accomodation was good, fairly stock standard room but very clean. Basic cooking facilities - enough to make breakfast etc. Not that the location was the worst - however the only thing of interest nearby is the markets. We found we were at the other end of town for all the other sites. Overall you get what you pay for and... More

Very close to city centre and very close to Lygon Street as well. Room was clean, modern, very comfortable bed and had the added bonus of a kitchenette. Budget price but standard very good. Would stay there again
