Australia’s longest running men-only gay hotel (32 years), catering to the leather blokes, bear and somewhat alternative crowd, this hotel is a fantastic place to stay with very friendly and attentive staff. Good value hotel - $130pn for ensuite room. Beds are very very comfy and the place is spotless. Friendly staff and hosts and continental breakfast included. Free wifi which is great as so many of the more expensive hotels charge a fortune for it. Close to transport into the city and to other gay establishments Very little noise from downstairs... More

“Great Place to stay”

I have stayed at the Laird Hotel numerous times.. never had an issue or problems. While being a hotel, it is clean and the hosts couldn't be more friendly. 3 Rooms have ensuits, 3 have shared bathrooms. Reasonably central and close to train station to head into Melbourne CBD (a few stops).
