Just in case you were not in the know. As of three weeks ago the mini bar is no longer stocked atthis hotel. It will not stop me staying there as it is still the best value in towm and the concierge Amanda is now back from 6 months leave.

We arrived in Melbourne airport and then took the Skybus to the Southern Cross Rail station. Staying 2 nights before moving to friend's house. Good location, nearby tram stop. Room is mall but clean & nice. Restaurant is quite slow. We have to wait for 45 min before our food finally arrive. Bed is confortable though.

Great postion close to Casino, Trams & good restuarants, hotel rooms due for upgrade but clean and good size. Hotel staff very good, lady chef on duty at breakfast over Easter weekend deserves a special mention . Will return one day and stay longer
