After my experience with the Formula 1 hotel, I always stay at the Flagstaff. The staff are friendly and helpful, never had a problem with the cleanliness or noise level. Everything is within walking distance and the rates are reasonable.

I paid 90 Aud for a night here and it was really value for money. The location was near the train bus and all kind of coach in Melbourne and would visit again. Not a flashy hotel but all the basic needs that anyone would need.

Place is neat but has really dishonest staff with really lousy privacy policies. Owners of the hotel charged a whole lot extra without informing the holder of the credit card. If you're looking for a neat and cheap place to stay it's alright but really, their dishonesty in doing business, above everything, made the trip a whole lot worse

We got a good 3 day price by booking on-line and have no complaints about value for money.
