I have an update to my previous review titled 'wedding weekend nearly ruined'. Mirvac offered us a return to Sebel as compensation for the previous horror we had experienced. Staff / service / room / dining - all fantastic!! Watching how others were treated showed us that we didn't seem to be singled out for anything. Thankyou.

I secured an upgrade to a loft apartment in the Citigate 1 Tower at the hotel. Although the lifts are a little further from reception the room was worth it. in my opinion, this motel is 9 floors of cheap ghetto motels stacked on top of an expensive looking lobby, water damage wall, dirty windows, the wardrobe wouldn't open on one side, and i stayed on the 8th floor in a lakeview room, overpriced, charged for parking on site, my guest had her make-up bag rumaged through while the maid... Feel like stay in a budget hotel while paying a premium price. The room is not clean & smell like hospital. Very noisy.

Stayed in this hotel a few times for work and it's conveniently located just minutes from the CBD. You can either walk to the city or catch a cab/taxi. The rooms are pretty decent and comfortable. Drinks in the foyer is a blessing after a hard day in the office.
