Stayed with family for a special weekend. Booked four rooms, all rooms were perfect, no complaints with any areas of the room. Room amenities were of a high standard, great beds and pillows. Breakfast what else can you say but wonderful. Will stay again for the great service in all areas.

We stayed here during the Mothers Day weekend. Check-in and check-out process was so smooth, staff were so friendly and helpful. Lobby area was grandeur, truly showing its class. Room was a bit smaller than expected, but the bathroom area is so vast with both shower and bath tub. Beds are very comfortable. What amazing is the location, which is... More

We used last minute.com and selected their 5* secret hotel. It ended up being this hotel. View from room wasn't bad considering price, we could see the Yarra and mcg, etc. Bed was lovely, bathroom had its own bath. Very clean. Buffet breakfast down stairs was $40 per person, $$$ but the huge selection was excellent. No lunch for us!... More

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne during May. The weather in Melbourne was horrid, but went shopping anyway to get some winter clothes that we do not get in Brisbane. Stayed on floor 29, king club room. Great bed, bathroom was clean and neat, the room had plenty of space, and a high building in credenza type thing was... More

Location and gym are the key selling points. Very convenient for most business meetings. Gym is very good as its actually a commercial gym as opposed to your normal hotel gym. Pool is poor though- indoors but tiny, so can't do laps. Breakfast is not great- generally I think Melbourne has nice food (and great coffee)- both are more of... More

My wife and I stayed for four nights in a Grand King Suite. We were in Melbourne on business but extended over the weekend. A bit extra cost but we reckoned worth it. The suite is large and the staff were very attentive. We were able to go in and out of the Club Lounge for breakfast and other times... More

Most comfy beds in Melbourne. Fabulous location if you are traveling on business. Service can be a tad slow. Great bathrooms with a lovely big bath. Gym is really busy as you don't have to be a guest to use it. Given Melbourne bars are so fantastic you won't want to get up to go to the gym anyway!

The Hyatt is a lovely hotel and great for a splurge. The breakfast is fantasic with every option possible catering both western and asian options. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The pool and gym were nice and very clean just a pity the pool doesn't have a view of anywhere. Would recommend as a romantic getaway.

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt for three nights. My flight was delayed so I arrived around midnight, the young bell boy Nicholas was very professional when he welcomed us to the hotel and insisted that he deliver the bags for us! Very thankful for that as we were very tired after a long haul flight! Easy check-in and the room... More

Only stayed for two nights on business but would gladly stay for longer. Room was large with a sitting area and good amenities. Location was great too, and getting a cab was not a problem. Room service was pretty quick and I have no complaints.
