The hotel is a nice historic hotel. Service fine, great valet parking, great location. We just didn't like our room. Dull, pokey and very claustrophobic. Breakfast was very limited. Stayed in much better.

Lovely hotel right in the middle of the city. Very quiet, I had a recently upgraded room on level 5 no road Noise, Internet was free for 3 hours a day, plus they had a great business centre, though no printer. Room was spacious, with good amenities. I tried their room service one nit and probably the best I have...

Stayed in a Deluxe Room 728 on 24th May 2012. Got a 60 day Advance Purchase price of $134.25. We needed to stay overnight in Melbourne and thought position and price was alright.
Room 728 is very small with a double bed and a very small bathroom but it has amazing views as it is on the 7th floor in...

We stayed for four nights in May. The Rendezvous is an old historic hotel in a good position in Flinders Street. The service is good, the beds are comfortable with little outside noise, restaurant and bar service was good - although the breakfast prices are ridiculous (take a short stroll to Degraves Lane for a choice of several cafes with...

Had just the one night here but that was enough. The hotel boasts of being a part of Melbourne's history and I guess that's correct with its CTA connection. However, unlike some other historic and classy buildings in Melbourne, this one simply pretends. The room I had (eighth floor at the back) was so tired - the carpet had holes...

Best thing about this place is the location. Short walk to Southbank and the Casino, couple of blocks from Bourke St mall,
two seconds from Flinders and Sourhern Cross Stations and walking distance to Etihad, MCG and Rod Laver.
Service was so so. Upon check in our rooms weren't ready so we had to head out for the afternoon. Upon...

It depends... I like walking distance to "everywhere", bathtub, less than 26 ausd for 24 hour internet+breakfast+free drink+newspaper Room is small and modest but I slept well, felt like home, enjoyed view to river Yarra, friendly service, tv with plenty of channels.¨so for mummies or daddies downunder by themselves, it is a good choice.
The room was small and the carpet was stained with several patches in it. Reminded me of a hotel is south America. The lobby was impressive but that's where it stopped. The breakfast was rubbery bacon and powdered eggs for $30! Totally rediculous. Even the "high speed" Internet was not fast enough to Skype with. My advice is to check...

I was in a small room on the third floor - was doomy and gloomy so not the greatest experience but overall my stay was pleasant enough.
