A very nice hotel within walking distance of Melbourne airport. The room was very nice and surprising quiet given the proximity to the airport. The hotel restaurant is nice but nothing fancy. If you need a place to stay near the airport this is the place.

The good thing about the Holiday Inn is its proximity to Tullamarine airport. You can be in bed 15 minutes after you arrive. No taxis to worry about. Stayed here with my partner in February, which suited us before we flew out to Tasmania on our way home. Well worth the stay to get some extra shuteye. Great service and nothing was a trouble to the staff. Look forward to stay again next time. Have stayed at other hotels at airport but prefer the Holiday Inn.

Rooms are great and fresh having been renovated a little while ago, should not be compared with downtown hotels 32km away, not sure why anyone would thinks its a base for ten days . Bathrooms are very small but apart from that it's hard to fault this place, especially the sound proofing!
