Although the apartments are in a great location, a short walk to Southbank and next to the tram line, i wouldnt stay here again. They were renovating the building, and there was dust and mess throughout the entrance, elevators and corridors. Apartments themselevs need an overhaul, including the linens. here were old festy blankets on the beds. Part of the... More

I recently stayed here for a business trip. I received one of the renovated rooms, as everything was shiny and new! I had a two bedroom apartment. The main bedroom was of a decent size, however the bed was effectively two singles pushed together. The 2nd bedroom would best be described as cosy and would suit younger children. The room... More

We didn't expect too much from our two bedroom apartment, but were pleased when we arrived. Pros:Check-in was easy and the living room of the apartment was quite spacious. There was an L-shaped kitchen with room for a 6 seat dining table and then an open plan lounge with couch and armchair and little balcony. The bedrooms were small, but... More

We stayed there as part of a group, occupying 3 separate apartments. I found the apartments to be clean, nicely laid out with a sufficient kitchen, stocked with everything you need. Yes, there were renovations going on and it would have been nice to have been told about them before we arrived. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location:... More

This property would have to be a favourite of mine. Clean, well services apartments that are comfortably appointed. Only concern was our ability to drive up the carpark.

After my recent experience in Plum Apartments - Southbank, I have no intentions to ever stay in a Plum apartment. On the internet you self rank yourselves 4 star accommodation but I would suggest you reasses this to maybe a 2-3 star. We recently stayed in room 11.1 between 3-5th Dec and were very disappointed with the experience, at the... More

We chose these apartments because they are one of the few in Melbourne that offer flexible accommodation for groups - they will split the beds in both bedrooms. Also, the two bedroom apartments have 2 bathrooms which is convenient when travelling with 4 adults. While we were there, they were undertaking a renovation of reception and all the foyer areas... Amazing hard to find due to renovations and NO signage outside. Thankfully we arrived in a taxi with GPS and in daylight otherwise we would still be looking for their entrance. Reception was reasonably friendly considering their very bad work space. Didn't find an issue with the noise even though we faced the motorway.

I arrived at Plum yesterday for a 9 day stay. 1 night down, 8 to go. Cheap, sagging beds. I say beds plural because the "queen" is 2 lumpy singles pushed together. Lumpy, old pillows. No doona/duvet just cheap blankets, hostel-style. Cheap, tired linen. Grimy stovetop...with ZERO supplies in the kitchen (unless you count cleaning products!) And the bathroom STINKS.... More
