Having read some of the other reviews had reasonable expectations for our 4 night stay, but we were both disappointed with the room which could certainly have done with a lick of paint to cover the paint chips on both the walls and woodwork, and maybe even just 1 picture on the wall to make it feel a bit less... Stayed one night which was really enjoyable. Had front room on fourth floor with great outlook to parklands and to the city. Staff really friendly and cosy bar to meet other guests. Would certainly recommend.

Stayed here for 3 nights and cannot fault it. The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we met cannot be over emphasised. The place is spotlessly clean and conveniently placed for the city either by walking or using the free "CAT" bus. Breakfast, either continental or cooked was excellent. All you could want from a small hotel in Perth.

The staff are great, the breakfast wasn't bad, but the rooms were a let down. They were poky and a bit old. The air conditioner was noisy and not very effective. The upside is that it is right near a Blue Cat bus stop (free bus).

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 2012. Very clean and comfortable with a minor quibble about traffic noise from Mounts Bay Rd (turning on the fan of the air conditioning unit helped fix this). Excellent location for exploring Perth. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Delicious buffet breakfast available.
