Great location and spacious room with a balcony and view overlooking Auckland Harbour. Excellent service both in room and in the Hotel Restaurant with helpful and informed staff. Easy walk to central Auckland shops and gallery/museums/city tower. Also many modern restaurants on the nearby wharfs.

Excellent hotel on the waterfront close to Restaurants, shopping and public transport - the hub of Auckland. Great breakfast although menu items are included in buffet but not advertised as such. Went here for Christmas night, was lovely to get away into the city you live in. Rooms clean and tidy. Food was great, loved the buffet breakfast. We didnt realise if any Cruise Ships were in we would have lost all view....thankfully we didnt have a ship in..it definately would pay to ask this question when booking as otherwise you... More

I have not found a problem staying at the Hilton Hotel Auckland ever. I love the warm service from the bell service to the hotel check in staff they are warm and friendly and am always willing to assist where they can. The Hilton Hotel beds are the best beds to sleep in.

If you want a break away treat that is in Auckland...the Hilton is perfect and get a sea view room.. they have decks and wonderful views to watch the ships and ferrys go by..plus tons of great restaurants near by if you want a selection.

The Hilton in Auckland has handy location and the restaurant staff are great, but overall the experience was a disappointment. Reception staff were surly and condescending; the rooms were average; basic amenities like adequate places to hang wet towels and places in the shower to put shampoo and soap were lacking.
