We booked an executive suite which was large, clean and had all a small kitchen, and a full laundry. Would be a good spot for travellers who want to be in the city and have apartment facilities. Ask for a room on the 'inside' rather than facing the street. Our room was very noisy...a brawl broke out right below our... More

Not a good experience at all. While it could be a good hotel if it was better run with at least some customer focus if you're here on business look elsewhere for somewhere that doesn't jeopardise your commitments. After a few bad experiences here, despite the good location and charming decor there are much better places to stay in Auckland... More

Family suite small basic, and not terribly clean, extra bed was a fold up in the kitchen! however it is central and its easy to walk around auckland. More

Although the rooms have been modernised this hotel still exudes the charm of yesteryear. Our apartment was quite large and well presented. i would recommend you book the executive suite as some of the cheaper rooms are on the wrong side of the building, they have no view and the smell from the nearby food court wafts up from the... We stayed at this hotel during the world cup and the prices had been doubled so value for money was not good at this time. Lovely big apartments with lots of character although a bit shabby. Good kitchen facilities and comfortable bed. The apartments felt cosy and comfortable. On the down side, the safe failed to work and I got... More

Stayed for two nights, Saturday and Sunday. No problems with check-in, staff were polite and friendly. The old style of the building was nice, interesting art on the hall walls. T.V was a little old and hard to know which channel was which. Kitchen and laundry facilities were impressive, even though we did not cook or clean. They would definitely... More

The room was Small. It wasn't even clean! there was rubbish under the bed from the last guests and dirty towels in the washing machine. the hairdryer didn't work. the shower drain was blocked and flooded the bathroom. Reception couldn't do anything about the shower so gave us extra towels to mop up water. the window overlooked the carpark where... More

Found it online and contacted staff by email for help with arrival. They were fabulous from beginning to end. Booked 2 2 bedrooms - ensuite - a good deal - bedrooms are small but quiet and comfortable. Great location near restaurants and center of town. Nice to be able to do laundry as well and we had a nice late... More

Stayed several times at this property (my hotel of choice when in Auckland) and it was all great. Location, location, location - this really works for this property. What more can you ask for as they are within walking distance of everything in the CBD and is conveniently located near bus stops that link you to the rest of Auckland.... More
