stayed here 2 nights and found the rooms to be very small and boxy. The service was poor as there was only one blanket in the room and we had to ask for another for the spare bed. If you are staying at an Ibis you know you are getting an average type of hotel. This one to me was above average the rooms were more modern and surprisingly big for an IBIS. Clean looking, modern style and a central location. Rooms too small for me but for the rate I guess they are standard. I would also recommend eating breakfast elsewhere for the price they charge as the selection is basic. Also walls must be paper thin as you can hear the people in the next room

i have based my opinion on a one night stay which at the time of my visit seemed quiet. the service at reception was excellent because we were the only 1's there. Usually our visits can be quite busy but it was a nice time to visit. It was most enjoyable and my rating above says it all. Kia ora

Small rooms however priced accordingly. It seems their room rates range from $109 upwards past $300 per night, depending on demand & the season. $109 suits the room & decor however much more that that is definately not worth it. Overall the hotel was reasonably good value and is well situated just off teh busy main road. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast food quality and service was not as good as it could have been.
