Sublime relaxation and rejuvenation amid fine New Zealand hospitality - just what we needed after a long time on the road. This is what it’s all about! We would unreservedly recommend this establishment for your next stop in Napier. More

Wendy welcomed us warmly with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc NZ wine and a large platter of cheese and nibbles prepared by Simon. As its name implies the B&B was a bit out of town near The Mission winery and restaurant (well worth a visit). We had a very comfortable bedroom with a large window looking over a pleasant garden.... We stayed at the Mission B&B for the first few days of our honeymoon. What was so great about staying with Wendy and Robert is that they are both so genuinely interested in their guests and that they have a good time. They are naturally warm and welcoming people and spent plenty of time helping us choose activities to do... More

I have stayed in many B & B's all over the world, and I found Wendy and Robert's B & B to be one of the most charming. Both of them were very warm and welcoming. Wendy makes the most wonderful jams and marmalades for breakfasts AND the best peanut butter I have ever had! Robert was a wonderful help... More

My wife & I stayed at the Mission B&B for the Easter long weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. Robert & Wendy are fantastic hosts with a passion for the region and for looking after their guests. We had the 'annex' room which isn't joined to the main house. It's got a fab shower and a little deck which would... More

There cannot be a more enjoyable experience than doing a very personalised fine wine tour with Robert whilst sitting on his deck. There is little need to visit the surrounding boutique wineries when your host is so knowledgeable, informative and hospitable. That said the local wineries recommended by Robert are exceptional and purchases allowed us to enjoy fine wines, reminding... More

Robert and Wendy operate one of the finest B&Bs that we've ever stayed at. Their cozy home is a short walk from Mission Winery and its great restaurant and a 10 minute drive to town. We were greeted on our first evening with a huge spread of cheese, fruits and local wine. Breakfast is as good as it gets, and... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early February and had excellent hospitality from Robert and Wendy throughout. Beds were comfortable and breakfasts a work of art. The B&B is within easy walking distance of the Mission Estate where Robert booked us in for dinner for my birthday. He also arranged a delightful wine and nibbles get together with the other... More

We had 2 wonderful nights at this top notch B&B. If you love wine , (or not) this is definitely the place to stay in Napier. The hosts Robert and Wendy both love wine and Robert is an expert on the Napier area wineries. We sampled some exquisite wines during our stay and one day Robert took us on a... More
