The hostel has a lot of stuff to do as a climbing wall, free wi-fi, a bar, free pool, and table games. I had a lot of fun there. The place is close to the bus station and near good restaurant places. The service was algo very good, they help me organizing myself to check what I can do/see.

Crank Backpackers tries to compete with everything, climbing wall, bar, pool table, free WiFi, movies, tour desk etc. However less can be more. This is a lovely hostel. The location is great, you can use the gym underneath for free, there is free wifi (which, let's face it, EVERY traveller loves!) and the computers are only $2 an hour if you want to use them too. For $26 (4bed dorm w/o BBH) you get free WiFi (most places charge $4-10/day), access to foosball and pool table and the bathroom is rather clean and spacious. Beds are comfy and there's reading light for each bed. Cupboards provided too. The reception also has great deals and we did White Water Rafting on Kaituna for $85
