I stayed at the Sudima on a trip with 8 friends. The rooms were great, the service excellent and the bed was more comfortable than my own (very expensive) bed at home in Sydney. Proximity to Rotorua's restaurants and night life was great, not being too much of a walk but not too close either. I would heartily reccommend the...

Spent the weekend here during my stay in Rotorua. Found the rooms very comfortable and all the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Top notch breakfast buffet in the morning - great way to start the day and get you ready for all the activities Rotorua has to offer :) Not hesitation in recommending.

Spent the extended Weekend at the Sudima. And boy was i impressed. Not only was the Staff kind and courteous from the minute we checked in. But they continued to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. The Rooms were cousy and Big! If you ever had a question about the City, or nearby Attractions, the staff would do there...

I stayed at 15 May 2012, room 306. Plus point is, the lake in front of this hotel. Recommended to take sunrise photograph. Breakfast is good, no free wifi internet connection, sometimes you will smell the sulfur gas, and the most minus point was my bad experience in hotel's program called hangi dinner. #1. This event named hangi dinner, but...

Stayed several years ago and found it OK, happy to go back this time. Big mistake, power points didn't work, expel air in bathroom didn't work, sauna out for maintenance, and worst of all, there was no SKY. As well as that there was a mix up with the price we were charged and the duty manager on Sunday morning...

Dear Guest
I am sorry for the issues you encountered during your visit. The Duty Manager this past weekend did their best to explain the room rate situation, which we believe was legitimate and correct. We were a little suprised at your comments surrounding the appliances in your room, which were all found to be in working order and we...

This is my third stay in the Sudima. Came to Rotura for the marathon. The Sudima is central to everything. You can park your car and then walk to every where you need to in central Roturoa. The staff are lovely. Rooms are 3 star standard but clean and comfortable. Check In was fast and efficient as was check out....

We have stayed here twice previously. We noticed it has been updated and had a more modern feel to it. I chose the Sudima as we were competing in the half marathon walk and we could walk to the shuttle buses that took us to the start line at Marama point and walk back from the finish line. We could...

We've stayed at the Sudima several times now over the years. It has some great pluses, which make up for some merely average bits. It's been refurbished which has made the reception and restaurant areas look really nice, and the rooms, while pretty much standard fare for hotels, are looking much more up to date. The staff are excellent -...

We stayed for two nights in a Superior Lake View Room and are still wondering why we bothered given the lack of air conditioning, dated furniture/decor, tiny bathroom, dingly hallway, and lift requiring a climb of several steps from Reception area (what do people with disability do?). We had dinner in the restaurant on our first evening and were pleasantly...
