Staying at the Timandra Motel in New Plymouth is very relaxing and peaceful, yet close to the City centre. I have been staying at the Timandra Motel for a few years now and find the room I stay in which is located right next door to reception is very spacious. Pete and Stu the owners, are always very helpful.

The decor at this motel is dated but the unit was large and extremely clean. Good value for the rate. Nice, quiet location. Fresh daisies in the unit was a nice touch. Free milk on check in was appreciated.

We spent only one night there, but weren't disappointed. The motel looks old, but everything is in working order. The staff is very helpful and we've been very pleased that they'd been waiting for us even though we arrived very late. The location is perfectly close to CBD.

This motel has a lovely leafy setting and the boys loved playing on the grass tennis court and hammocks. The rooms were very comfortable, though we found our bed to be overly soft and saggy to the middle. Make sure to visit the nearby gardens and 'bowl', which are wonderful.

Used this Motel for 2 nights based on location, reviews and price. Our rooms were clean, with few amenities, as expected, I’ve been pleased. The owner operator was very friendly and helpful.I was provided very helpful information about New Plymouth and places to visit in that area.

Booked this motel for three nights online as was close to the TSB Stadium, reasonably priced and looked clean and tidy. Upon a quite late arrival greeted by a nice pleasant man, paid for the room and were shown to our unit. Our stay was very pleasant, we were blessed with good weather and really enjoyed the garden setting. The motel is an older style property but the unit we stayed in was nicely appointed, the owner was very helpful, recommended a great little Italian and helped us with our bearings. Friendly cat!
