We stumbled upon this place out of sheer luck, google search etc. It was our first trip to New Plymouth and we had a really pleasant stay. Eifion and Ann are awesome hosts. Beautiful home-cooked breakfasts in the morning, and a really nice, log-fire in the evenings to warm up. We stayed in the balcony room and had fantastic views... More

We stayed for one night with Anne and Eifion who were great hosts. They gave us valuable information about where to visit for the best views of the sunset, Mt Taranaki, the park and footbridge. It was great to enjoy a long chat and glasses of wine with Eifion by the log fire. The town was a short walk away... More

Lovely historic house - with very welcoming and helpful hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The balcony room we stayed in was very comfortable, with beautiful views to the Tasman sea. Anne and Eifion kindly lent us bikes and cycling along the coastal walkway/cycleway is highly recommended! We very much appreciated the home baking... More

Our recent four days spent in New Plymouth were made so memorable by the impeccable service and friendly hospitalty of hosts Eifion and Anne. Being met and welcomed at the airport after an evening flight was most appreciated. We were fortunate to have the very large balcony room with sweeping views over New Plymouth to the Tasman Sea. The comfort... More

We stayed in this B&B in January 2012 and very much enjoyed our time there. The room was comfortable and spacious with a nice deck and outlook. We had access to a private bathroom along the hall and down a few stairs. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and treated us to afternoon tea one day and cheese and crackers... More

Our stay was 2 nights in the very large bedroom upstairs with the balcony. It had lovely views out over the city and further towards the sea The owners are very helpful and friendly, also very particular to keep their historic home in the original state. The website stated a private bathroom. This bathroom was on a lower floor, down... More

A large attractive house on the edge of town. Our stay was two nights and we had a very large room with balcony and views over the bay. Our hosts were excellent and we benefitted from their local knowledge on eating places and local events which gave an extra dimension to our stay. They were also exceptionally kind in helping...
