The Devon Hotel is a business and conference Hotel - nothing clever, simple decoration but everything well maintained. So for a quick stay the perfect Hotel.
Our Australian sporting team stayed here recently, our third time, and once again the management and staff were extremely welcoming and very helpfull.
Nothing was ever a problem, from asking to use meeting rooms for impromptu team meetings to borrowing a projector and setting up a make shift theatre room so we could watch the ice hockey play offs, nothing...

Good location near city, dated hotel with some refurbishment. Room was clean and tidy, bed comfy, well priced mini bar. I found it quite noisy though, could hear everyone up and down halls and stairs.
This is a real yucky old hotel, run by a family, it is more a big motel rather than a hotel !
Staff have no clue what service is.
On first night, went to their so called "famous" buffet, on arrival, staff were shouting at each other and it took three minutes of internal arguing before they decided to seat...

Booked myself just 3 hours before arrival and when arrived was pleasantly surprised that the reception lady was waiting for my arrival. She was extremely nice, thats the kind of people we value in hospitality as working industry as a receptionist myself! Nice room, clean bathroom, fridge didn't really work though...On check out there was a different lady at reception...

In the Marbles restaurant Seniors $25, $30 adults and $10 fo children....
You can have as much as you can eat, and keep going back for more, I do not think this is very expensive at all......
I do not think it is that far out of town....
Overall very nice food,, and clean and tidy...

This was our first time at the Devon Hotel. A nice modern, upmarket, clean hotel, but our room was very small. I also prefer motels with a kitchenette, as hotel meals are very expensive. The staff are friendly and helpful. City is abit far away.
Always enjoyed good hotels with clean and hygenic rooms and bathrooms.
Devon do manage to keep it that way recently.
The food especially the evening buffet dinner is excellent, something you should not miss.
The fire palce and some drinks at the bar in the winter nights is something great to enjoy.
Recent stays I do really enjoy and looking...

room was good, seemed very clean and all basics provided. Good freindly service and always happy to help, this is always a plus for me. Bit far from the city centre, taxi will be needed. Would return and recommend.
