Unfortunately we only had 1 night in Sails, Taupo. We wish it could have been longer. What a fantastic place to stay. The 6 of us were easily accommodated, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The stunning view of Lake Taupo was exceptional. We were just going to stay for a wee bit to see how we liked it. We didn't like it we loved it!! And stayed almost 3 months!!! The staff went above and beyond. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate in staying again.

Our room was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable with the added plus of free WiFI. We had a lovely view of the lake and the mountains, just perfect. Plenty of room and great views the rooms were clean and had nice appointments. Reception was friendly and nothing was a problem.An added bonus free WIFI Good value for money and would stay again. Nice fish ad chips shop up the road and plenty to do in Taupo.

Excellent view over the lake, and quiet. We've stayed in many Quality Inns in NZ/AUS over the years. Not all get it right, Richard and Karen do. About 15 minutes walk to the restaurant area. I'd avoid Dixie Browns - mediocre food and had to wait nearly an hour for our meal.
