Loved the kitchenette which enabled us to do our own breakfasts. Helpful hosts and easy walk to town centre for plenty of restaurant choices.No lake views - but short walk to water front.We had a twin room, with good beds and plenty of space. Would stay again should we be so lucky to travel to Taupo again.

Lovely place. Good beds and linen, spotlessly clean, comfortable furniture, good bathroom (although we prefer a removable shower head). Self catering if you wish. We traveled to NZ last February 2013 and stayed over in Taupo for 2 nights. We chose Catelli's of Taupo and met a very nice and honest host. He gave us lots of ideas about attractions in Taupo. The room was good for a night, clean and surprisingly very quiet for a motel. Will definitely come back again!

this motel is nice, quiet and very clean. The rooms were big enough for the 2 of us, bathroom was really clean, The new owners are wonderful as were the staff. Keep up the good work and we will definately be back as we have family who live in taupo.

Good location (around 5 minutes from the town center), but at the same time very quiet. Rooms were clean and tidy, and had all the expected amenities. Very reasonable pricing (around $150NZD for one night through Agoda). Very knowledgeable and friendly staff that are very knowledgeable in the surrounding attractions. Also all rooms have parking right outside the door.

As a starter Catelli's is particularly easy to access when coming from the South via State Highway 1.
