Functional hostel with clean dorms and kitchen - we were in a 4 person dorm. Bathrooms were fine but could have been cleaner. Staff very busy and a bit stressed! Nice outdoor deck where you can see the mountains across the lake, and parking outside.

Nice clean hostel with friendly staff. They were able to advise on activities and were knowledgable about the area. Good location - 5 min walk into the heart of Taupo and in a pretty quiet location too. Nothing flash but as you would expect from a YHA.
