Although on the waters edge, this hotel has decor and a finish that is some what tired! In desperate need of freshening up!! Staff were friendly, the spa was fantastic, the room very average. 15 minute walk into town. Restaurant closed.

I was overwhelmed by the service and hospitality I received at the Cove Motel. I was a lady traveling on her own and the warmth and caring I received from Vicki and her staff were absolutely wonderful. Everywhere was clean which is something I certainly look for in an hotel. I would recommend this Motel to everyone!

Enjoyed the luxurious feeling of this Motel. Amazing to be on Taupo's Main thorough road but not beeing disturbed by any road traffic or party noise.
