The hostel is well located in Taupo with a nice outdoor space and plenty of communal space. I opted to stay in a 4 bed dorm which was quite small and cramped, but perfectly adequate. I woke up in the morning finding out I lost my passport on a boat i was at a night before. They were extremely helpful, arranged a ride for me to catch up with the rest of my group, plus everyone was very pleasent and nice. great hostel. would recommend hands down.

I have stayed here twice in the past and really like this hostel. It has a bar serving cheap drinks but still manages to steer away from being a party hostel and it's always quitet by 10:30pm in consideration for those who are up early. my partner and I always stay here, the rooms are cheap and cheerful, and the en-suite bathroom is a real plus (especially for us older travellers) the bar is cheap and the staff always friendly. would highly recommend.
