This motel let two rooms of teenagers drink and party outside a unit continuous nights and didn't care about sorting it out for the other guests disturbed by noise and foul language. Gail and Mike were charming hosts and Bay Palm has a great location near the Mount and Tauranga. Our 'guys' group, consisting of 3 Brits, stayed at one of their "off site", 3 bed holiday homes - near the beach - excellent facility, which suited us perfectly. Fully recommend the Bay Palm to any intending visitor to this area.

I was a little concerned about the location as it is near a very busy corner, however traffic/noise was not an issue. Pleasant room with plenty of space. Nice owners! Would certainly stay there again.

Clean and modern rooms, well appointed. Great service, friendly staff. Lovely pool. free wireless internet. Great location, close to the beach, shopping mall and swimming complex. Rather noisy though, walls are paper-thin and close to a main road. Use earplugs. i found the bed a bit soft and wobbly but that comes down to personal preference.

A handy walk to the beach was the reason we chose this motel, the road is quite busy so a bit of road noise to contend with in the mornings and evenings. The room was clean enough but the pillows had a bit of an aroma to them, due for some new ones I think.
