Great big room with comfortable beds, good airco, Sony TV, fridge, partial view of the city. Free Internet computers and wi-fi in the lobby. Good location in the business district, at the edge of the centre. Staff was nice.

We stayed at this hotel on a short trip to New Zealand. We arrived very late at night and the check in was satisfactory although not fantastic. The hotel has really 2 entrances and he entrance where the cars come has many steps to negotiate to get to the check in desk. It would have been nice to have had...

Very good location right in town. Walk to the waterfront, Te Papa, restaurants, railway station etc. Clean and very good value, with a good cafe/restaurant in the lower level. We can recommend this hotel.

The Novotel was the first night of a 10 day holiday in the North island of NZ. The staff on arrival and departure were friendly and helpful. They explained about the hotel services and breakfasts and gave directions and maps for things to do in Wellington.
The bed was not the best I've ever slept in being a bit lumpy...
