I have used the West Plaza lots of times for business and for short holiday breaks. I find the staff very helpful, the rooms clean and quite spacious. The food in the restaurant is good and the bar relaxing. The corridors can be a bit confusing and cold do with brightening up a bit.

3 girls, 3 beds. Perfect. What a wonderful place to stay. Such friendly helpful people. Room was spotless. Tidied each day and clean towels. Situated in the right place to go anywhere. We would recommend to everyone. We will go back without hesitation.

Located right inmt he heart of Wellington and an easy walk to iunnner city attractions especially Cuba Mall and Courtnay Place. Great for restaurants and boutique shopping. The hotel is getting on a bit now but very clean and tidy. Nice wee house bar where the young lady behind the bar was very friednly and efficient. Food is good enough.

The hotel was close to the city centre and most of the city sites,but the rooms were only just serviceable, didn't appear particularly clean as hairs were found in bathroom on entering the room.Had a nice lounge near the front foyer which seemed popular, but we only went there once for about 15 minutes so don't have an opinion on... Very good hotel, right in the centre of town,very helpful staff, overall very good value for money. I would stay here again without question.Moses behind the bar seemed to work his socks off. Even in this day and age they had outside tables complete with ashtrays, yes, ashtrays
