Quest Wellington is centrally located in Wellington just off Lambton Quay. I walked to both Te Papa and Westpac trust Stadium during my stay (particuarly enjoyed walk along the waterfront and the underground market on Sat morning). I arrived late and was able to access my room easily despite the reception being closed. The room was generously sized, clean and... More

The quest is very central in the CBD in Wellington , it has free wi-fi but you will need to day for parking if you have a car ($20 per day when we visited in May 2012) I would give it a better rating but the room was very noisy as it is in the city and there was quite... More

Avoid quest wellington if you want to avoid really bad surprises. Just a few of mine: 1. NZD 308 on my credit card a few days after having checked out. This is after my company transferred the money before even my departure for NZ; after having stayed there for 9 days; and after having checked out and paid the remaining... More

Dear Mrs Urge-Vorsatz, Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay, however I must point out that you were informed that there would be a charge for extra cleaning as there were stains on the carpet and furniture, which were identified after your departure as requiring additional treatment and therefore the apartment was unusable for 24 hours. The full... More

5 stars for location, spacious room and cleanliness! Provided everything that was promised. Decor is a little outdated but for a business trip, it was very comfortable. Reception only open during the day so take note... Nice stay in windy wellington. Thank you!

Great choice for our Wgtn weekend. Fabulous spacious 1-bdrm apartment on 8th floor, beautifully presented & pretty much everything we needed was provided. Very comfortable bed with lovely crisp linen & cosy down duvets. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Excellent central location, just a stroll to wharf area, museums, restaurants, etc. Will definitely return & eagerly look forward to... More

We were in Wellington for the Rugby Sevens and we decided to stay in the city. Hotel is great location but thats about it! Needed a good clean, the main door had issues opening and closing. Some staff were great and some a little bit confused. Quite noisey as we had to have windows open as no aircon. For $250.00... More

Girl on the front desk locked the door between me giving my credit card details and fetching my luggage from the car, so I was unable to get back in. She said she locked the door because she was "sick of people coming through the door with enquiries, and interrupting her". I thought that was the job of someone employed... More

We have stayed here a number of times, always in the same one-bedroom apartment, which has a peep view of the sea. It feels like another home!...There is a fully equipped kitchen and quiet fridge; laundry area in the large bathroom, comfortable furnishings in the living area. Modern appliances, of course. Best of all is the fact that we are... More

Right in the middle of Lampton Quay. Close to the waterfront for long safe walks - even early in the morning. Smack in the middle of great cafes - try Smith the Grocer for HUGE breakfasts or Starbucks if that is your thing. Great shopping to suit all wallets. Two minutes if you take it slowly from a bus stop... More

We booked to stay at Quest Wellington months before a concert at Westpac Stadium only to receive an email THE WEEK BEFORE to say that they could not accommodate us and that they had arranged alternative accommodation for us elsewhere. I rang that hotel to find they had no such booking. Eventually we were booked at another hotel, we stayed... More
