No idea why this is a boutique hotel as it was very average.Given room downstairs at first, quite close to the footpath, no net curtains, felt like a goldfish bowl. Moved us upstairs on request. Reception staff very helpful. Blenheim a dull place with nothing much to see.

Thank you for your feedback. After investigating this hot water issue, it was ascertained that an adjoining room had flooded the bathroom resulting causing this problem. After this investigation I have contacted this reviewer and we have reached a mutually agreeable compensation.

We had to move room because of the lift & reception noise. The room had been repainted and some upgrading but the shower room left a lot to be desired. We were also woken by alarm at 4am. It was central to Blenheim but town was a bit dull but the countryside around pleasant and Wither Hills Vineyard very enjoyable.
