Not really close to places you can visit in chritchurch. Most of christchurch is anyways closed due to the quake. Jeff was a great host and would definitely recommend this motel.

Stayed one night on the last day of South Island trip, we choose here as it was rated # 1 in TripAdvisor. The property condition was good, the owner was great as he introduced us his Christchurch town.

This is supposed to be the nearest motel to the city centre, which is true but unfortunately, there isn't much left of the city centre. Stayed for two nights, the staff was so nice and welcoming. The rooms have all the necesseties, Sky, TV, hesting, cleN bathrooms etc. Location is great too.
