We stayed here on our wedding night and I can simply say, its one of if not the best place Ive stayed. Owners Wayne and Toni have done a stunning job on the place but as hosts, they are amazing. Our wedding finished late and they were happy to come and drive for approx 30 mins and wait around just... More

We went to Taurikura Lodge for a private dinner to celebrate a family birthday and Toni and Wayne proved to be great hosts. The premises, hosts, food and service were all amazing. We'll definitely be back. More

We had to extend our original 2 day stay at Taurikua to 4 days as our accomodation in Christchurch was badly damaged by the recent earthquake, and what a good decision it was. We had a wonderful time with Toni, Wayne and their delightful family. The welcome we got was warm, the food tremendous and the rooms extremely comfortable. If... More

Wayne and Toni just couldnt do enough for us during our stay - making us feel so very welcome amidst their lovely family and home. From picking us up from the airport in the middle of the night and welcoming us with a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake. To a hearty breakfast and ending the day... More

We were travelling with another couple and we all had a first class, true New Zealand experience staying with Wayne and Toni at the Taurikura Lodge. It is a beautiful lodge, self sufficient in power with 2 wind turbines on location, with a pool, hot tub, massage room and movie room. The rooms are clean, spacious and bright, with beautiful... Everyday was a delight, Great Food, Excellent Wine and Tasty New Zealand Beers. The staff/family were second to none and and they made everyday one to remember. We enjoyed the culture & Art of Christchurch City, A Day trip to Akoroa and went up the mountains bungy jumping before heading to the hot springs. Our adventures were thought out and... More

Owners/hosts Toni and Wayne really make you feel at home in this Boutique Lodge. Recently built as a luxury lodge - this hotel is powered by 2 small wind turbines out in the field in front. I had a lamb roast while I was there, with potatoes julienne carrots and other local vegies. While it doesn't sound avantgarde the food... More
