I would highly recommend the pacific park if you are going to stay in dunedin, it really made the trip for us! the rooms are lovely! spacious, warm, and modern! a 1min drive from town, but really worth it as it is so private and relaxing not to be right in the centre which it seems most of the others... Stayed at Pacific Park for 2 nights & found the staff very friendly and accommodating - even offered to cook vegetarian food (will let the staff know in advance next time!), lovely quiet location, enjoyable walk into the City. The rooms were large and clean and very comfortable. More

I have just returned from another trip to Dunedin and will not stay anywhere but the Pacific Park Hotel. Lovely friendly staff, beautiful clean, large and very well presented room. Lovely breakfast 'on the house'. A 10 minute short walk into town and only a five minute walk to the Moana Pool, all down hill! I love staying at Pacific... More

We have just stayed at the Pacific Park for 3nights with our two small dogs. It's a great position amongst trees and above the city but easy driving and walking distance to the centre. Ideal place for dogs and staff were very accommodating. Large room with lovely outlook. Will definitely be back More

Thank you Jane - we are delighted you found Pacific Park to you satisfaction - and look forward to seeing you and you pets again soon - we realise it is sometimes difficult to leave your pets at home - especially when they are an important part of the family. Clarke More

Staff very friendly and welcoming.. Room very comfortable and roomy and clean. The hotel is out of the town centre which is accessed down a long hill. Superb view over Dunedin from Restaurant area. Food very good. However, the décor was a bit plain and the area lacked any sort of ambience. We think more soft furnishing/ partitioning would make... More

This is a hard review to write because the review has to consider the quality of the hotel in relation to the price. The Pacific Park Motel is the most expensive Motel that I have stayed at in four years of travelling in New Zealand. The price of the room was $592 for two nights twin sharing. The room itself... We thank "maac05" for this comments and review, which we encourage. We were aware "maac05" was having difficulties with logging his personal computer into our network and tried very hard to please him. We did spend a small fortune installing WiFi throughout our Hotel complex and as with high tech there are many different reasons why things somrtimes don't go... More

I travel often to Dunedin for work. Bookings are made by my organisation, and I usually stay somewhere different each time. I can honestly say that Pacific Park was the nicest and most modern room I have stayed in thus far - tastefully decorated and very clean. The little balcony provided a lovely view over part of Dunedin, particularly at... More

Originally booked into one of the standard rooms (big mistake) which suggested it was a no smoking room: it smelt of smoke (funny that). The room itself was extremely "tired" and worn but had ample room/ space. If you are going to stay : book the "luxury" room which is a lot more modern, has a flat screen and has... More

Thank you for the feel back. We regret if there was the smell of tobacco smoke in the "Standard Room" that had been booked on line. Smoking in the Hotel is prohibited and our Guests are made aware of this. At no extra cost to our Guest we ungraded him to one of our Superior Rooms. We apologise if we... More

I chose Pacific Park Hotel for my recent 6 night stay for its proximity to Mercy Hospital where a family member was a patient. My room was extremely spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It was well heated, and quiet and the daily continental breakfast included was enjoyed with the beautiful view from the restaurant. Management and staff were helpful and... More
