“Excellent Value”

My wife & I stayed at this hotel for one night on April 15, 2013 during our tour of New Zealand. A good motel for a reasonable price. We liked th clean room & bath room. Parking is available. Next to Mcdonalds & gas station. Close to city centre.Good location. Friendly staff. Internet is available.

We stayed at this motel as part of the National Model T Vintage Car Club Rally, along with many other "T" enthusiasts. “Clean, quiet, comfortable and economical”

My wife and I spent two nights at the Monarch and found everything to be spotless and in good working order. “Bloody awesum”

Our stay was over a weekend for a 7yr-14yr old athletics competition....everything was perfect the kids had room to run around while the parents caught up.....karl and kerry are very relaxed and accomodating which made our weekend awesum....rooms are lovely and clean the spa room is great and location is perfect WE WILL BE BACK GREAT JOB KARL AND KERRY... “Nice stay in good rooms”

A stopover on our way to Bluff for an early ferry to Stewart Island. We received a friendly greeting and were allocated clean rooms. The stay was quiet and plenty of parking. We would stay here again !

“Enjoy my trip”

Enjoy my stay at Monarch.. This time I am a returning with my family. Room is comfortable and value for money. Good to return. Some thing negative is the early morning biker noise which woken the family . (PS: there is a bike race at Invercargill at that time) , and that is no fault of the hotel.

“Excellent service and hospitality”

Like many people have said before, excellent motel! Clean! Very Comfy! And maybe not the place to put this but first motel that had a seperate door just for the w.c. Staff was excellent and the owner even let us abuse his wifes Katmandu account so that we could get some great deals, now that's service! Recommend staying there!

“Stay at the Monarch Motel”

We stayed over night in Invercargill on a cold and miserable night during the winter, but we were warm and cosy in one of the refurbished rooms at the Monarch Motel, the room was decorated in a modern but contempory style, and the room was very comfortable and good value for money.

Comfortable and very clean. Quiet setting as not right in town center. Staff welcoming and helpful. I would definately stay at the Monarch again and look forward to a relaxing stay again in the future.
