A very warm and welcoming hotel as soon as you walk in the door, I would have been happy just to sit in the foyer with a drink and relax. The room was a nice size and well decorated and the bed was huge and comfortable. There are hotels with better views than the St Moritz but the quality and... More

Loved this little find! First impressions as I walked into the foyer was...ahh..crackling open fire, with cow-hide comfy seats clustered around it, dark timber surrounds...bring on the marshmallows while I kick off my boots. The fire isn't a 'real' fire as such but a modern gas-fired one but it didn't matter in the least because it was warm & cosy... More

I decided to pick this hotel because if was one of the few that was close to the water and clearly offered rooms with a lake view. We were pleasantly surprised with the service provided at the hotel. We arrived late after driving from Punakaiki (6 hour drive) We were immediately greeted by the Valet who took our luggage and... More

We stayed at the St Moritz for four nights. It was a wonderful hotel with valet service and a warm fireplace lit lounge/lobby area. The check-in was easy and the valet service, room service and concierge desk provided excellent customer experience. The 1 bedder we had as part of our Accor membership was more than roomy for two, there was... More

The hotel sits up a slope a short walk from the town centre. It had the look and feel of an alpine ski lodge as we entered the hotel. It was a nice looking lobby in warm tones with a number of separate sitting areas. Check-in was friendly and efficient. We had a very nice and large suite with a... More

My husband and I stayed here as part of a package of a land excursion from a Holland American ship. We disembarked in Milford Sound and met the ship the next afternoon in Dunedin. While on the land excursion we explored Fiorland National Park and stayed one night in Queenstown at the St. Moritz. Our checkin was smooth and when... More
